We've wanted to be parents for a long time. It hasn't happened the way we thought it would, but over time we've come to believe that adoption is how our family is meant to grow.
This hasn't been a quick decision for us. It's been something we've prayed about, talked through, and really considered. We've had the hard conversations. We've asked ourselves what kind of parents we want to be and what kind of home we want to build. And what we keep coming back to is this: we want to love a child deeply, consistently, and for their whole life.
We're not coming into adoption casually. We understand the story begins with courage and sacrifice. If we are chosen, we want to approach that with humility and respect. We chose Adoption Bridge because we wanted a process that feels personal and supportive and one that values connection and honesty.
Our home is steady and safe. We work hard, we laugh often, and we care a lot about the people in our lives. A child in our family would grow up knowing they are wanted, celebrated, and fully loved. We won't be perfect parents, but we will be present ones.
We're hopeful about what's ahead and ready for the day we get to welcome a child into our family.
