A Loving Home

We are a family of two. I am a single mother who adopted my daughter when she was 9 years old. She will turn 11 at the end of this year.
Early in life, I decided I wanted to adopt. As a teenager, my mother fostered a sibling group of five and eventually adopted them all. I loved having a house full of children and decided that was what I wanted for my own family.
In 2016, I fostered for two years before moving to Atlanta. After settling in for three years, I began the adoption process for my daughter. It was a smooth and swift process, which confirmed to me that it was meant to be. About three months later, I officially became her mother.
Now, we are ready to expand our family. I have heard wonderful things about Adoption Bridge within the adoption community, so I decided to give it a try.

We are a family of two, consisting of me and my adopted daughter, who was nine years old at the time of adoption and will be celebrating her eleventh birthday later this year.
My desire to adopt stems from my childhood, where I observed my mother successfully foster and adopt a sibling group of five children. This experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for large, loving families, and I resolved to create that same environment for my own family.
In 2016, I began my journey by fostering for two years. After relocating to Atlanta and establishing myself there for three years, I initiated the adoption process for my daughter. The process was remarkably smooth and efficient, solidifying my belief in the natural connection we shared. Approximately three months later, I officially became her mother.
We are now seeking to expand our family and have been recommended Adoption Bridge by members of the adoption community. I am hopeful that this partnership will allow us to achieve our family's goals.
