Hi there,

Thank you for taking time to learn about our family. Adoption has been a part of our lives and our friends’ lives for many years and, while we know that it can be a beautiful part of life, we also know that the decisions you are making for yourself and your child during this time are very difficult. We respect and admire your courage as you consider what is best.

Ever since Amanda and I met more than 17 years ago, our family has valued getting the most out of life together. Along with our 9-year-old biological daughter Evie, we love going on adventures. Many of our days are spent at home – cuddling with our pets, playing games, and spending time around the dinner table – but we also enjoy traveling and getting outdoors. We love to fill our days with quality time together playing music, baking delicious treats, and wandering in beautiful places.

We both work with children and families, and we have known since we met that we wanted to form our own family through adoption. It has been our dream for many years to make our lives richer and more meaningful in this way—not only by bringing a child into our family but also by connecting our family to the family that brought them into the world. We are thrilled to one day share a life filled with beautiful hikes, trips with family, and the quiet moments at home in between with another child.

Our family and friends are an important part of our lives, and they are so excited to be a part of our future child's village too from day one. If you ultimately decide that adoption is best for you and your child, we would be honored to welcome you and your family into our family to be a part of this village. We believe deeply that connecting our families together can be a beautiful way of doing life, and hope we have communicated just how excited we would be to embark on this journey with you if that is what you choose.
