Thank you so much for considering us as you walk through this incredibly brave and selfless journey. As you are navigating these difficult choices, we hope you find this adoption profile helpful and informative.

 

We met online in 2013. At the time, Bethany was working as a teacher in Palm Coast, FL, and Mike was a professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Mike’s sense of humor and Bethany’s kindness quickly drew us to one another, combined with a mutual love for the Lord and a strong Christian faith. Within a year of meeting, we were married, and Bethany moved to Gainesville. While we don’t have family in town, we’ve built a strong support network through our church, and our friends have truly become our local family. We love exploring nearby state parks and visiting museums in surrounding cities. We welcomed our first daughter, Ellie Grace, in 2016. A year later, Sophia joined our family in 2017, and Madeleine arrived in 2022. Bethany now stays at home with Madeleine and volunteers at the older girls’ school. Mike has a flexible job that allows him to work from home most of the year. We still love to explore, but these days, our adventures often include playgrounds, amusement parks, and other fun family activities that bring joy to our girls.
