We had thought about adoption before we were married; before we even knew the battle we were going to face with infertility. Both of us had seen stories of adoption within our own families and saw the beauty that can come from brokenness. We have been married for nearly 3 years and have struggled with infertility for the last 2 years. We've overcome losses, with the help from God. We praised Him, though we certainly did not feel like it at times (more than we'd care to admit), through every disappoinment, every negative result, and through our prayers and praises we felt called to adopt. This isn't a "second-best" option for us, but rather an alternate route to expand our family. All we've ever wanted to be is parents and we can't wait to welcome Baby Gray into our home, hearts, and family.

Our families are beyond excited to welcome Baby Gray into their arms as well! As stated before, we have several examples of adoption within our families, so he/she will have those cousins to lean on in times when questions, concerns, or confusion arise. We know that our baby will be accepted, loved, and celebrated by all of our family members. We can't wait to extend our family and share him/her with everyone. 

We have chosen to use AdoptionBridge because of all of the expenses that come along with adoption. We have had a couple of fundraisers and had more planned, but COVID-19 has put a hold on future fundraisers. AdoptionBridge is a way for us to raise money for this adoption without putting ourselves or others in harms way. We appreciate this opportunity AdoptionBridge has provided to us and the differences they make in so many families!
