Aimee & Patrick Esslinger

Aimee was adopted as a 7 year old foster child.  From a young age, Aimee knew God planted adoption in her heart.  Aimee’s upbringing was in an amazing Christian family, and God knew what He was doing when He matched me with them.  When Aimee and Patrick got engaged, and talked about having a family, it was agreed that they would adopt at some point, whether or not they could biologically conceive.  Aimee and Patrick have 3 biological children: Naomi, 8 3/4: Lucas, 7; and Audrianna, 4.  Our kids seem very excited to continue to add to our family as well.  We first started thinking about adopting when Audrianna was around 1 1/2 years old, and again when she was 2 1/2 years old, but it was not quite time.  We moved to a bigger house in June 2018, and as soon as we got settled, we began all the preliminary steps to start the adoption process.  We were home study approved in October 2018, and have been on the waiting lists since November 2018.  We have applied for around 18 grants, which has so far resulted in 1 being given in the form of a matching grant.  We have raised $2100 so far.  We are open to doing other fundraisers, such as breakfasts, dinners, bake sales, etc.  We cannot wait to add another precious child to our family, and to show God’s love through adoption.
