Dear Expectant Parent(s),
Thank you for choosing to take a few minutes to get to know us. Our names are Ryan and Gail. We’ve been praying for you, and for all those who have difficult decisions to make, since God wrote it on our hearts to become parents through adoption. Should you choose us, you will be a treasured and respected part of your child’s story, of our family’s story.
We are originally from New England and spend time each year in the lush green mountains of Vermont and on the coast of Maine, with family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors. We are blessed to have an extended family that we love spending time with. In fact, both sides of our family can barely contain their excitement about welcoming a new baby into our lives. Gail’s two youngest brothers are also adopted. We have an extensive and loving support system of family and ‘framily” (friends who are like family) to walk with us on this journey.
We own a five bedroom and five bathroom home. It’s located in a beautiful, family friendly neighborhood nestled in the hills of Georgia. We have a large neighborhood pool, playground and tennis courts, at the end of our street, for hours of outdoor fun. We love spending time at our home together as a family with our Australian Shepherd named Miller. We enjoy cooking together, playing in the yard with our dog, tending to our small orchard of peach and apple trees, taking walks, getting together with the other families in the neighborhood, and just relaxing with a tub of popcorn, in our living room, for movie night. We also love to explore the world and look forward to sharing these special cultural experiences with our child.
We believe in a well-rounded education that begins at home and is steeped in faith. We each have graduate degrees and believe in the importance of quality education. Our children will have the ability to pursue higher education and careers of their choosing.
Ryan works from home as the General Manager and Contracts Manager for his company. He loves his job and has been there for 16 years. Gail is the Director of Marketing and Communications for a non-profit Catholic organization and owns a small communications company. She loves how she is able to use her experience and talents to help spread the light of the Gospel and make a difference in the world. We are grateful that both our companies offer flexible work options and support healthy families. Because we have the added benefit of Ryan working from home, after our parental leave is up, we plan on having someone come to our home to help care for our child.
We understand that this is a painful and confusing time and you have difficult decisions to make. We want you to know that no matter what you choose: God loves you and we will be praying for you every step of the way. Should you choose us, we would be happy to answer any further questions that might be on your heart and delighted to work with you to establish a communication and visitation plan that’s aligned with your desires and comfort level.
Yours in the heart of Christ,
Ryan & Gail
