Dear Expectant Mother,
What an amazing journey God has placed all of us on to this point! It has been a challenge for us to trust Him and His plan in all of this, but He has a way of speaking to us when we need Him the most. We trust that He is giving you the same peace and comfort in this moment that He has given to us through this process. Please know that we are praying for you and your child daily and know that God will guide you in making the best decision. We can't tell you how full our hearts are with love for you and the beautiful child God has chosen to bless you with.
We have been married for ten years and together for thirteen. We met in the same small town in South Carolina that we now call home. In September of 2008 we both stood in the sand of Edisto Beach and promised our lives to one another. One of the most important promises we made that day was that we would help each other to raise children in a faithful and loving household. Little did we know the challenges that God would give us to make that promise a reality. My wife and I tried for years to have our own children and suffered through several losses and health scares. We cannot have biological children of our own and we have taken the time to grieve that loss. Through the grieving process, God has led us to the beautiful gift of adoption as an opportunity to be parents.
Depending on your wishes, we would love to meet you and share more of our story with you and learn more about yours. We will raise our child with the knowledge that their birth mother loved them very much. We are open to sharing updates about your child as they grow up, if that is something you want. We will respect your wishes when it comes to these difficult decisions.
In the challenging days, weeks, and months ahead, please know that you are not alone. We love and care for you, and respect the difficult decisions that you have to make. We pray every day that God wraps you in his loving arms and gives you the peace and clarity that only He can. My wife and I trust when He tells us: "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, Plans to give you hope and a future." This is our prayer for you, that your child is loved and that you have hope for the future and the life God intended for you to have.
Jonathan and Caroline
