Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot imagine all the emotions and heaviness on your heart and mind as you read this letter from our family. We want you to know that you have been prayed for and thought of so often as we have prepared to welcome a child into our home through adoption. Our heart goes out to all mothers experiencing what you are as you make the hardest decision of your life regarding the future of your baby.
My husband and I have been married 13 years and have three biological daughters age 10, 8 and 5. When we were dating we had talked about one day adopting a child and always kept that in the back of our minds and hearts as we became parents. We met at summer camp where both of us were working as counselors and both had a passion for serving and helping kids in common.
As a family, we enjoy being together as much as possible whether its camping in our pop-up camper, visiting every park in our area, hiking the woods and to the creek by our house, or going to the zoo and traveling to visit family all over the U.S. Our girls absolutely love ballet lessons, art, piano, swimming, and watching the Marvel Avengers series during our family fun nights together.
We are blessed to have a loving community of people who have adopted around us, including my husband’s parents and my two brothers who are doing foster care and are open to adoption as well. We would love to have an open relationship with you depending on your comfort level with what would be best for you if you chose to give us the great honor of raising your child.
We are willing to help however we can as you make this decision, and we pray that you would be blessed with peace during this journey.
Sincerely, Jon and LaurenView Profile Book
