Our names are Paul and Yeny. I know this has been a difficult journey for you and a big decision is coming up. We can definitely relate after being diagnosed with infertility and 3 unsuccessful IVF attempts, we find ourselves crossing paths into adoption. We are excited and grateful for this opportunity. Who knows, perhaps this is Gods plan.
Paul, Yeny, Kaylie (our 14 year old daughter) and Gizmo (our 2.5 yr old Shitzu) live in one of the safest cities, Irvine, in Orange County Ca. We have resided here for over 10 years. My wife and I connected as mutual friends over 20 years ago and have been married for 4 years now. Our daughter Kaylie, or as we like to call her the “tik tok superstar” is prepping for high school and is open arms to the prospect of having a new member to the family. Her journey into our lives is special being that she came into my life from Yeny’s previous marriage at 6 months old, however, she loves both of us and she sees me as a Father. She comes from a Hispanic background and we are able to see her grow and assimilate into my Filipino culture. This bond we have is unique and I know the three of us can extend our love through adoption!
Our community is family oriented with a plethora of parks, playgrounds and arguably the best schools in America. We love to go sporting events, amusement parks and an evening at the movies is always welcome. While Kaylie and Paul enjoy doing outdoor activities, Yeny loves to use her time to take long walks or curl up and watch netflix. We always reserve Sundays to attend mass here at our local Church. At least 2 times a year we enjoy going out on vacation to destress and enjoy more family time with each other. Our favorite place to go is Hawaii.
Currently, Yeny is working full time as a registered nurse and I am working in real estate. We both have extremely flexible schedules that will allow us to dedicate time for a child. We definitely feel that we were successful in raising our daughter Kaylie into the best version of herself. She is kind, courteous and selfless. As far as parenting skills, we feel we have the experience and know how to care for another child. Raising a child is tough and challenging, but this will not be the first child in the family and we are ready for any hurdles that may occur.
This is us in a nutshell. We understand you have a story to share and We would love to hear more about it. Yeny and I are open to meeting with you. We are confident that we can work together to do what is in the best interest of the child and at the same time create a friendship with one another. Our close family and friends are in full support of our decision to adopt. Like us, they see it as an opportunity to provide love and support for you and a child. Childbirth is a celebration and we wish you best of luck. While there is no such thing as a perfect situation, all we can hope and do is make the best of what we have and move forward.
Paul, Yeny and Kaylie
