Dear Expectant Mother,
We are Greg and Courtney, and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We have been praying for you and your precious baby. We can't imagine how difficult this decision is for you. We are amazed at your bravery and humbled that God would call us to this beautiful gift. Thank you for considering us to be a part of your child's future family. We want to tell you a little about ourselves.
In 2007, we met at college in Chicago and began dating several months later. Two years after that, we were married. We both wanted to have children long before meeting, and since dating we talked about our desire to adopt. After different birth and recovery complications, we have two biological children: a son (9) and a daughter (5). They are kind, tenderhearted kids who are very excited about welcoming a new baby brother or sister.
As a family, we treasure our time together, enjoying leisurely hikes in the parks around our home and reading nightly bedtime stories. We also homeschool, so there is plenty of time to learn together through activities like nature walks, baking cookies, gardening, and building bonfires in cooler weather with a bowl of chili and a cup of hot cocoa.
We are very involved in our church where our closest friends are, and we love spending time with extended family as well. We live a mile from Greg’s parents, so grandma and grandpa are close by. The kids also have eleven cousins whom they adore and see regularly.
Our promise to you is that your child will never doubt your deep love for them and that they will never doubt ours. We have been incredibly blessed to have loving and supportive family and friends that cannot wait to welcome this new life with us.
