Dear Birth Mother,

Thank you for considering adoption and reviewing our profile book.  We can’t imagine the weight of parenting options you’re considering, and we know love will lead you. We feel privileged at the opportunity to share a little about us.

We’ve been married for nearly 11 years.  We started our life together in California but now call Colorado home. We were endurance athletes, Frank in triathlon and Julia in marathon, and mutual friends decided we should meet! We spent the earlier part of our marriage focused on our careers and exploring the world. Frank continues to work behind the scenes in healthcare where he focuses on helping patients receive better care through new technologies. Julia recently left management at a dialysis clinic to focus on growing our own family. While the time is right for us now to have a child and provide a loving, stable, and supportive life for him/her, it just hasn’t been in the cards for us to have a biological child.

We imagine you might be curious how our life might change once a little one enters our family. Know that our parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews will all be part of creating the sort of environment that we experienced growing up – one of learning, new experiences, and laughter. Again, thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We wish you a full heart and peaceful mind as you are guided in your decision for your child, and we hope we can be one part of your support network in this journey.
