Domestic Adoption

Dear Expectant Parent(s),

We can only imagine the thoughts and feelings you are working through right now and pray that you will find comfort and love in whatever decision you make.  Your bravery is something we highly respect and admire.  The thought of welcoming another little one into our family is so overwhelmingly amazing, for both us and our girls! You and your baby/babies have been on our minds and in our prayers every day.  Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family!

We met in high school and dated for about 5 years before getting married in 2011.  We always have so much fun and love doing life together. When we decided to try to expand our family, we experienced multiple pregnancy losses and had infertility struggles for several years.   After finding some answers, we were blessed with two beautiful girls- Abigail (4) and Anna (2).  As a family, we love to play games, visit the Zoo, read, watch movies, play outside, travel (we love Disney!), sing and dance together and play with our dog, Finnick!

Eric works as an on-call hospice nurse.  He is home during the day and off work every other week!  Dana was a pre-kindergarten teacher for about 9 years.  After Anna was born, she left work to be a stay-at-home mom.  She also teaches piano lessons a few nights each week.  We love how much time our jobs allow us to spend together as a family!

Due to complications after Anna was born, we are no longer able to have biological children.  Adoption is something we have discussed since early in our marriage and we knew it was something we would pursue one day.  When Abigail was three, she started talking about asking God for a baby, “Actually, two babies at the same time!”- were her words!  This reignited the conversation and led us to beginning the adoption process.

The amount of love and support from our family, friends and church is astounding!  The baby we welcome into our family is already so loved by not only us, but the family and community around us! We are open to adopting a child of any race and plan to learn as a family about their heritage and incorporate their culture whenever we are able! We have loved learning and celebrating different aspects of Chinese culture with our nephews who were adopted! As you look to make a decision for you and your child(ren), please know we are thinking about you, we care about you and are here to help.  We pray the best for you, whatever you may decide. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us!

                                                            Sincerely,

Eric and Dana
