Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We cannot begin to understand what circumstances have led you to this decision, but we are praying for you, your child, and your family. There are so many challenges and emotions involved with adoption and this life-altering decision, and we are praying that you experience so much love and support no matter what decision you make.

A little about us… We have been together for 4 1/2 years, married for 3 1/2 years. Very early on in our relationship adoption has been a part of our conversations. Adoption has always been something Sarah wanted to pursue. Dakota also was interested in pursuing adoption one day. His dad was adopted, so he already had a personal tie to adoption from his dad’s experience.

A year into our marriage we decided to start trying to have kids but ran into infertility struggles after trying for over a year. We already knew we wanted to adopt, so we decided that maybe God was calling us to adopt sooner than we expected!

We are really excited to welcome any child into our home, and are supportive of all races. We already are intentionally becoming a part of diverse communities and we will continue to seek out communities that represent our child’s race. We cannot wait to become parents and shower our love on our child! We want to instill in them that our home is a safe, secure base where they can receive love and support and encouragement so that they can then go out into the world and accomplish whatever they set their minds to!

Depending on your comfort level, we would also like to keep an open relationship with you. Whether that be occasional pictures and texts, or monthly video calls, we want to respect your privacy, and where you are at. We are praying for you to have peace and love and support as you decide what is best for you and your baby.
