Dear Mom,

It's an honor to have your ear at this time in your life. We are so thankful for you and the life you are carrying. There are a lot of things, many which are out of our control, that bring our stories together. There are a million different things that have made us who we are and lead us to this point, but more that any of those things we want you to know:

1. You are dearly loved, needed, and important to this world. We want you to be empowered by the decisions you make for your family and your child.
2. Your child is dearly loved, needed, and important to this world.
3. We certainly don't have it all figured out and are going to make mistakes, but our goal is to give a child the love and tools to be who God created them to be.  We want to give them our family while honoring and celebrating the family and culture they are born to.
4. Ricky will make a really great big sister.

We acknowledge the swirl of emotions that surrounds adoption. As our stories intersect, know we want to sit with you where you are and grow with you if we are invited. We are praying for wisdom, courage, and clarity for you as you choose what is best for your family.
