Dear Birth Mother,
In our family, we love to laugh, dream big, are thankful, do our best, say sorry, have fun, Trust God, LOVE always, and cheer for the Dallas Mavs!
We have been married for thirteen years. We both met each other at church and were good friends for two years before we began dating. We dated for nine months and were engaged for five months. We enjoy going to Dallas Mavs games, going out to eat, going to musicals and plays, traveling, bowling, shopping, being active in our church, and spending time with our family and friends. We love to have fun, live life to the fullest, and are excited to become parents and make memories with a family of our own. We have longed to be parents for many years and Lesley has been unable to get pregnant. We would love to grow our family through adoption and share our adventures and blessings with a child.
Brad is laid back, caring, helpful, and compassionate. Brad is a realtor and works hard to provide for his family. Brad enjoys playing golf, playing on the church softball league, and running. Lesley is an outgoing, sweet, loving, and giving person. She is always willing to help others and is very supportive. Lesley graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Psychology and has worked in the foster care and adoption field for 16 years. She is looking forward to being a stay at home mother. Lesley enjoys shopping, doing DIY projects, running, going to flea markets, and volunteering at church. Our sweet dog, Stella Mae is a dachshund. She is lazy, loves to eat, look out the window, get treats, play with her toys, laying around the house, and running around the backyard. She is very loving and great with kids.
Family is truly what makes us the happiest. We are so lucky to have family that lives nearby. The ease with which we may pop in for a quick visit, go to dinner, attend church together, and go on family vacations is something we never take for granted. Monday night family dinners are a family tradition. We are immeasurably blessed and surrounded by love and support. We have some amazing friends that we are able to share life with. They are generous and kind people that we feel supported by as we journey together.
We live in in a suburb of Dallas, Texas and live in a rural neighborhood on 1/2 an acre. We have two extra bedrooms that are ready to be decorated and used for children. We have a large backyard and live close to a community park. Our school district is wonderful and each season brings new activities for the neighborhood children to participate in. We attend an Assemblies of God church that we are actively involved in. They have a wonderful children’s ministry that has many activities and opportunities for children.
We hope that learning about our lives, together, and as individuals will help you on your own journey. We look forward to having a relationship with the birth mother that choses us and have an open adoption. We would like to be able to send pictures, letters, and have visits. Our hearts are open, and we promise to instill a home full of love, support, and happiness. We will be a guiding example of how to love and be loved. Most importantly, we will ensure that our adopted child will grow up knowing the story of his or her birth, and the truth of their birth mother’s love that brought us all together. We cannot wait to show a child all the love that we have to offer and all of the amazing experiences that life can bring.
Love, Brad and Lesley
